Brightsight has a global and outstanding reputation in hardware security analysis. For over 20 years, we  have evaluated the security of 250 chips from the majority of the supplying vendors.

With state-of-the-art analysis techniques, such as microscopy, reverse engineering, chemical etching, probing, focused ion beam manipulation, power and light perturbation and side-channels analysis, Brightsight has evaluated many devices against internationally recognized yardsticks.

We  have been accredited by Visa for Hardware Architecture Reviews (VHAR) and by MasterCard for CAST evaluations. We are also accredited by JCB, MasterCard and VISA under the EMVCo scheme. Furthermore, Brightsight offers Common Criteria (PDF) evaluations of secure chips under the Dutch NCSIB scheme, the German BSI scheme and the Norway SERTIT scheme.

Apart from type approval services Brightsight can support vendors with training and specific development support before and during the actual development process of a secure chip.
