Brightsight and ECSEC present CC Seminar in Tokyo

Last fall Common Criteria Version 3.1 has been released. Starting in April of 2008, all CC evaluations have to be performed based on this new standard. This means a challenge for anyone involved in CC evaluations.
The Information Technology Promotion Agency (IPA) in Japan has announced through their release schedule that a Japanese draft version will be issued in January and a formal release in April.

A seminar about CC version 3.1 will be presented by Brightsight and ECSEC Lab in Tokyo to assist manufacturers in gaining more understanding of CC Version 3.1 and CC evaluations in general. The seminar will take place on January 31 till February 2 at the United Nations University of Tokyo.

Dirk-Jan Out (CEO of Brightsight) and Haico Haak (Brightsight Security Evaluator) will speak at the seminar.

For more information please contact Ms. Sanae Shimotori from ECSEC at Tel: +81 3 5259 8064 or mail to shimotori@ecsec.jp
