The Crypto VGA is the first terminal that is approved as UPT. Brightsight has performed the evaluation leading to this approval. The PCI Security Council published the first final version 1.0 of the PCI UPT requirements per April 20, 2009. The UPT requirements are an extension of the PCI POS version 2.1 requirements and likewise holding the same protection levels including full case replacement consideration.
