Brightsight Offers Special Evaluation Pricing Brightsight is running a special sales promotion for chip card products that need both a Visa and MasterCard approval. For two evaluations vendors will pay even less than they usually pay for either evaluation alone.

There are a large number of chip card vendors producing Visa and MasterCard payment cards. The security evaluation programs of these organizations were differing in the past and, as a result, vendors had to undergo two separate evaluations to get their products approved. The two programs are becoming comparable, however, since Visa is moving towards a whitebox evaluation scheme.

In Brightsight’s view, this presents a clear advantage for vendors: “An experienced lab can evaluate a product that contains both applications for an attractive price,” says Jan Pieters, CEO, Brightsight.
