Brightsight expands in Asia Pacific, establishes presence in Singapore

Brightsight BV has established a subsidiary Brightsight Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. to support the expansion in the Asia Pacific. The operation of Brightsight Asia Pacific will commence in June, 2011 in the Republic of Singapore. To support the expansion, Brightsight has acquired Excosecant.com Pty Ltd whose director, Dr. Jussipekka Leiwo, will become the Managing Director of Brightsight Asia Pacific, responsible for establishing a core team of experienced consultants well versed in Common Criteria and other security evaluation standards and methodologies, and for overseeing further growth and strengthening of the Brightsight brand in the region.

Brightsight will seek to obtain further accreditations for performing Common Criteria and other security evaluation services to complement the existing accreditations. This allows a broad range of services to customers with diverse requirements. As the security evaluation business grows it also diversifies and as a leading security evaluation laboratory, Brightsight is sensitive to the need to acquire a broad range of accreditations to best serve the global customer base and help them achieve their ICT security assurance visions, and to support governments and corporations in securing their critical ICT infrastructure.
