Delft, 16th of February 2016: Brightsight is proud to announce to have achieved their 200th Payment Card Industry (PCI) approval last Monday, the 7th of February 2016. Brightsight supported their very first customer to obtain a PCI PTS approval in 2004. The amount of approvals Brightsight achieved has since kept increasing steadily. Nine years later, in 2013, Brightsight performed their 100th PCI approval. Since then, only three years later, another 100 approvals have been added, totaling 200 approvals last week! The number of PCI approvals has grown incredibly fast in the past three years. The prediction is that the number of PCI approvals will continue to grow steadily in the years to come. Ben van Berkel, senior project manager at Brightsight, says: “At Brightsight, we believe this large growth of PCI approvals is due to our predictability towards planning and costs. Over the years, Brightsight has gained a lot of knowledge and experience concerning PCI approvals. Because of this, we are able to run the PCI approval process fluently. Our customers and the PCI-scheme know this” PCI approval offers a solid basis for other European (GBIC, UKCC, PNCSAC) and Australian payment (APCA) approvals. Brightsight is the number one security lab in the world, with over 100 security evaluators. Based in The Netherlands, we offer, amongst others, PCI, EMVCo and Common Criteria evaluations For more information about this and other services, please visit www.brightsight.com.
