Delft, 5th of September 2018: Over the past months, Brightsight has explored the possibilities for a takeover by leading global Testing and Inspection Companies (TICs), as many TICs have a strong interest in building or strengthening their position in the market for security evaluations.
After intense discussions with two major TICs, Brightsight has decided that it is in our best interest to continue our operations as an independent security lab at this moment.
Brightsight has a strong and growing position as the world leader in the security evaluation market. Through our discussions with the TICs we gained a better understanding of the TIC market, their specific needs and their different assessments of the security market and the unique opportunities this market offers.
Brightsight will remain a 100% independent security lab for now and will continue to look for opportunities for growth and collaboration to serve our current and future markets.
