On the 27th and 28th of July, 2016, Brightsight held a PCI PTS seminar in China. This was the fourth consecutive seminar Brightsight organized in China to share the latest updates and changes to PCI PTS certification and evaluation requirements. This time, the seminar was held in the beautiful city of HangZhou and took two full days. 93 participants from 36 different companies were there to gain knowledge and meet others in the field. The seminar focused on the changes to PCI PTS requirements between the current version (version 4.1) and the upcoming version 5.0, which is expected to be published in September this year. During the seminar, Brightsight experts introduced:
  • The changes to hardware and software requirements;
  • How DPA evaluation for terminals is required by PCI SSC and how this is performed at Brightsight;
  • Open protocol evaluation;
  • Use of the Android operating system for payment terminals;
  • Brightsight evaluation services to minimize time to market.
As before, the seminar was given in Chinese by our Chinese PCI lead evaluators. This year we also involved experts from DPLS Lab with extensive knowledge of domestic payment terminal evaluation in China. Kai-Fan Chang, Director Business Development Greater China at Brightsight, says: “The goal of Brightsight seminars has always been to provide real value to our (potential) customers, and we believe that we delivered it again with this year's seminar.” If you are a developer from the Greater China region and interested in our PCI PTS related services, please feel free to contact us at gao@brightsight.com or info@brightsight.com for general inquiries.   IMG_4156IMG_4181IMG_4048IMG_3943
