Delft, November 2019: After our first ever eIDAS HSM Common Criteria Certification in 2018, Brightsight is now the first lab that accomplished an eIDAS SAM Common Criteria Certification to the new eIDAS protection profile 419 241-2 for remote Qualified Electronic Signatures. The evaluation was performed for e-signature solution Cryptomathic Signer, that is now recognized as providing the highest possible level of security.


With this outcome Trusted Service Providers, Governments and Industry can become full eIDAS compliant and are able to offer services of eIDAS certified Qualified Signature Creation Devices (QSCDs). In combination with an eIDAS Common Criteria certified HSM, they can provide the Root of Trust (RoT) to different kind of industries, such as financial services, payment, automotive, cloud services, IoT and the public sector.
