After a successful 2017, in which we built and accredited two new sites in Beijing and Barcelona; moved our Delft headquarters to a larger office; grew our team of security experts to 160; and achieved new accreditations, FIDO Alliance and PURE; we are looking forward to meeting you again or for the first time at Mobile World Congress, the world’s largest gathering for the mobile industry. At Brightsight, we are consolidating our leading position as the largest independent security evaluation laboratory. By exhibiting at MWC, we show our commitment to existing customers as well as our willingness to form successful new relationships with new companies looking to increase the security of their solutions. Many interesting and relevant topics will be covered at MWC18, such as Industry 4.0, Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, Connected Cars, Smart Appliances, Smart Home, and Wearable Devices. All of these topics share a common challenge: cybersecurity threats. The lack of clear cybersecurity regulations in the aforementioned markets makes it even more important for developers to consult real security experts. To obtain state-of-the-art security for their products, they have to rely on a security lab. This is why it is important that they engage a trusted partner like Brightsight, who can provide the right advice on the latest and most threatening attacks and affordable ways to achieve protection. We also provide support for customers who wish to obtain certifications, establish their own security requirements for their providers, or create cost-efficient and scalable private security certification programs. Whether you are targeting consumer (B2C) or industrial (B2B) markets, cybersecurity is a cornerstone of any IT-based solution or product. Brightsight has bedrock knowledge on the IT security principles underpinning cybersecurity technologies. This helps our customers overcome IT security threats by understanding applicable attacks, achieving protection, managing the associated risks, and bringing resistant IT products to market at a reasonable cost and time. With our experience and expertise, we can help you improve the security of each layer of your solution. Hardware, firmware, operating system, application, communication channels, communication devices, back end – all of these are relevant and equally important links in the security chain.

The Brightsight team will be more than happy to meet you in person next week at MWC 2018.
