Eurosmart announced their new Board of Directors composition on 19 May 2025. Brightsight has been elected as a Board member of Eurosmart with Fabrice Heiser, Senior Director Strategy, Policy and Advocacy, representing Testing and Inspections companies.
Brightsight is proud to contribute to the Eurosmart association, representing the TIC (Testing, Inspection, Certification) community. Fabrice says: "I am excited to collaborate with fellow Board members and industry stakeholders to advance trust, security, and innovation in Europe and beyond".
Brightsight brings years of experience in the cybersecurity developments in emerging IoT markets from not only technology, but also policy perspectives. The CSA, EUCC, CRA, and other upcoming regulatory developments will significantly impact the industry. In the digital trust age, our company is eager to support the Board with perspectives from trusted third parties. Additionally, as the worlds of cybersecurity and other regulations start getting more attention of Eurosmart and its member, we benefit from SGS's expertise in the related areas such as RED and CE marking. According to Fabrice, "This is a pivotal and critical time for our industry as Eurosmart continues to engage with the European Commission on strategic cybersecurity priorities."
