Brightsight CB formally licensed by the Dutch NCCA to conduct certification activities for the EUCC scheme.
We are proud to announce that on 1 December 2025, Brightsight CB obtained a licence as a Certification Body (CB) for the Common Criteria-based Cybersecurity Certification scheme (EUCC) by the Dutch National Cybersecurity Certification Authority (NCCA). Brightsight’s facility in Delft, the Netherlands is now a formal Conformity Assessment Body (CAB) authorized not only to perform independent certification activities under the EUCC scheme, but also to issue certificates that are recognized under the Common Criteria Recognition Arrangement (CCRA).
The Dutch NCCA authorization follows the accreditation by the Dutch National Accreditation Council, Raad voor Accreditatie (RvA), announced on 20 November 2025 (read more here).
Within the EUCC scheme, Brightsight CB can certify the ICT products for the assurance levels Substantial and High up to EAL5+ within the following technical domains:
Smartcards and similar devices Hardware devices with security boxes Generic software and network products (up to and including AVA_VAN.3)
