Barcelona, 15th of October 2020. Brightsight Barcelona is now accredited as a security lab for LINCE certification, that is part of the Spanish National Evaluation and Certification Scheme (ENECSTIC). LINCE, developed by the National Cryptology Centre (CCN), is an evaluation and certification methodology for cybersecurity in Spain.
The LINCE methodology is particularly meant for ICT products that require to demonstrate medium or basic security. Therefore a security evaluation under LINCE requirements can be done with limited scope, resulting in a quick turnaround time and lower costs.
Why LINCE?
In Spain, all ICT products must be registered in the CPSTIC product catalogue. In order to be included, the product must pass a security evaluation and obtain a security certification. LINCE is a recognized security certification program for the CPSTIC catalogue. In addition, the LINCE security evaluation is more affordable, and has a much shorter timeframe than a Common Criteria evaluation. It makes it accessible for small and mid-size manufacturers.
