The opening of the Brightsight China lab was held on Friday the 14th of April 2017. The festive opening was held at East Wine Cellar in Beijing China. CEO’s and managers of important Chinese and other international companies in the smartcard industry were there to celebrate the opening with us. During the celebration we talked about our future plans regarding our lab in Beijing. We would like to thank all the guests for coming and are looking forward to many more years of working together. Kai-Fan Chang, Director Business Development Greater China and General Manager of Brightsight China, says: “The lab opening was a great opportunity to talk to VISA, Mastercard and both international and domestic customers about our future plans in Greater China. I am very pleased with the positive response we got during the celebration.” We opened a lab in Beijing to serve our customers locally. The need for a local security lab grew in the past years, due to our expanding market share there. Brightsight China is a subordinate lab that is wholly owned by Brightsight. Brightsight China is accredited to perform formal CC evaluation under SERTIT and EMVCo IC, Platform and Applet evaluations. The new lab is our first step to expand our international presence in the security evaluation industry. We are looking forward to our bright future in Greater China and remain our position as the number one security lab in the world!
